Hickory smoked bacon/chicken breasts
1 cup wood chips for smoking (hickory)
12 boneless - skinless - chicken breasts
12 slices bacon
12 slices provalone cheese
1/2 teaspoon of salt ----- for taste
1/2 teaspoon of pepper ----- for taste
Preheat grill with prepared wood chips for about 10 minutes on medium heat. Wrap each chicken breast with a slice of bacon. Place chicken in a shallow greased pan. Put the pan on the grill next to hickory smoke. Cook for about 35-40 minutes or until juices run clear. Melt provalone cheese over chicken and serve.
